Over the last 13 years, my writing career has allowed me to explore styles and topics before developing a deeper passion for culture reporting, long-form features, profiles, and personal essays. My writing has allowed me to report on the growing creator and trend ecosystem as early as 2012, spotlight women in STEM breaking the glass ceiling, pioneer my own weekly feminist creator column, cover the intersection of mental health and YouTube in print, write about trauma and sleep, and expand conversations around the topic of victim blaming – to name a few. I continue to be deeply passionate about supporting and sharing the style of trauma-informed journalism in the hopes of making this field a safer, more informed space for survivors of trauma.
